Baladi Poultry has unveiled its strategic expansion plan for the period 2025-2029, with investments amounting to 1.137 billion SAR in the poultry sector.
In a statement released through “Tadawul Saudi” on Wednesday, the company stated that its plan includes establishing a slaughterhouse and a factory for poultry meat and processed products with a production capacity of 500,000 birds per day. It also plans to build 600 broiler chicken houses and two hatcheries, each with an annual capacity of 100 million chicks.
The company noted that the expansion will be funded through surplus cash from its accounts, as well as obtaining facilities and loans from the Agricultural Development Fund and commercial banks under Sharia-compliant Murabaha financing.
Baladi Poultry emphasized that the plan aims to boost poultry production capacity, meet the growing demand, contribute to food security, and support the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, while maximizing shareholder equity.
