
Mauritania Receives Algerian Tender File to Purchase One Million Sheep
The Algerian Ambassador in Nouakchott, Amin Said, handed over today, Friday, to the President of the Mauritanian Employers’ Federation, Mohamed Zein El Abidine Ould Cheikh, the file of an Algerian tender to purchase one million Mauritanian sheep. During the handover, the Algerian diplomat invited Mauritanian economic operators in the livestock sector to participate in the tender.
The President of the Employers’ Federation welcomed the initiative and expressed the readiness of Mauritanian economic actors to participate “in everything that would develop trade exchanges between the two countries and enhance the value of local products.”
Both parties also agreed to hold the regular Algerian Products Exhibition in Mauritania on May 4 this year and to organize a joint economic forum on the sidelines of the exhibition.
