
Hafar Al-Batin Forum announces the largest livestock city in the Middle East
with a cost of 9 billion SAR, spanning an area of 11 million square meters, expected to cover 30% of Saudi Arabia's red meat demand
During “Hafar Al-Batin Investment Forum 2025”, organized by the Hafar Al-Batin Chamber with the support of the Federation of Saudi Chambers , the announcement was made about the largest livestock city in the Middle East, with a value of 9 billion SAR. This initiative aligns with the Kingdom’s objectives to achieve self-sufficiency in livestock products and strengthen food security in line with the goals of Vision 2030.
The project, owned by the Hafar Al-Batin Livestock and Marketing Association, is located in Hafar Al-Batin Governorate, spanning an area of 11 million square meters. It is expected to meet 30% of Saudi Arabia’s demand for red meat, create over 13,000 jobs for the local population, and include state-of-the-art facilities and barns for livestock breeding, feed factories, a veterinary hospital, and processing plants for red meat production, utilizing the latest technologies.
